Pinnacle Business Excellence Awards
April 2023
A 38 member business delegation from India went to Phnom Penh and interacted with the Ministers, Secretary of States of Cambodian Ministries, Chambers of Commerce and business tycoons from Cambodia. The event witnessed footfall of 200 plus people from the Indian and Cambodian side over three days. The event was supported by the Indian Chamber of Commerce(InCham).
Each day began with sessions by distinguished policy makers and business leaders from Cambodia, followed by B2B networking in the evening; followed by Business Awards in the night.
Inauguration of Songkran 2023 at Khmer Kitchen

Khmer Kitchen, the only Cambodian restaurant in India, invited the Honorary Consul and his wife for the opening of Songkran and participated in promotion of Cambodian food in Bangalore and India.
Fest at CIMS College

The Community Institute of Management Studies (CIMS) organised a National Level Inter Collegiate Management , Technical and Cultural fest on May 18, 2023 and invited the Honorary Consul to inaugurate it. The Honorary Consul addressed the students, encouraged them to learn about the history and culture of Cambodia and inspired them to excel in their lives.
Yibrant Bangalore Bilateral G20 YEA Summit

The Honorary Consul was invited for the Yibrant Bangalore Bilateral G20 YEA Summit by the Young Indians, a Young Leaders body of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The summit featured keynote speeches, panel discussions and networking sessions, providing ample opportunities for participants to engage in meaningful dialogues and exchange ideas. The Honorary Consul was invited for the 6th Innovative International Film Festival, being held in Bengaluru from 12th to 15th October 2023. The festival invited the Consulate to showcase Cambodian films in the Exhibition of 100+ Films in 30+ different International & Indian languages
Womens’ Delegation to Cambodia

The Honorary Consulate of Cambodia in Bangalore, took a delegation of 55 Indian Women entrepreneurs from India to Siem Reap, Cambodia from 26-29 August 2023 in Angkor Miracle Resort & Spa. The representation of women was from across the country- Chandigarh, Delhi, Jaipur, Kolkata, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mysore, Gulbarga, Bidar, Mumbai, Chennai, Coimbatore.

The Honorary Consul was invited by the Governor of Karnataka at the Raj Bhavan for the Republic Day celebrations. The Honorary Consul met with the Governor, Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka.
Independence Day at Mumbai

The Honorary Consul was invited for Independence Day reception in Mumbai and met with dignitaries and officials of Maharashtra, including the Chief Minister, as shown in the image. Maharashtra is a jurisdictional state of the Consulate.
19th Edition of India Innovation Summit CII India INNOVERGE 2023
The Honorary Consul was invited for the 19th edition of CII India Innovation Summit 2023 with the theme “Impacting Global Agenda through Local Innovation” from 17 – 19 August. The Summit focussed on the Indian ecosystem for innovation excellence and with the discussions deliberating on India’s role in shaping global policies, scaling up research & development, talent, tools, technology & overall impact on globalization.
Visit of the Regional Director of ICCR
In September 2023, the Regional Director of Indian Council for Culture and Research (ICCR) Bangalore, visited the Consulate and discussed the activities ICCR does with Embassies abroad, the funds and scholarships it has for supporting art and culture and inviting Cambodian artists to India.
Issuance of the First Tourist Visa
The Honorary Consulate issued the first visa for Mr Parteek Tiwari, a banker from AU bank for celebrating the new year in Cambodia

Forum of Women Entrepreneurs (FOWE) on Women’s Entrepreneurship Day
After learning that Women in Cambodia hold important leadership roles in Cambodia, the Honorary Consul was invited to the Forum of Women Entrepreneurs’, where he addressed the gathering and shared the industries and sectors led by Women in Cambodia
Meeting with BIAL officials
The Honorary Consul invited Mr Raveen Pinto and Mr Arun Chandra of the Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) for understanding and exploring the possibility of Direct Flights between Bangalore and Siem Reap.
Cultural Delegation
In December 2023, the Honorary Consul facilitated a delegation led by Vishwavani, a leading Kannada newspaper, where spiritual gurus, cultural artists and performers visited Siem Reap and visited the places of cultural importance. During the Gala Dinner they saw performances by the artists and learnt about their beautiful culture.

Meeting with Dalai Lama
The Honorary Consul, accompanied by the Customs Officer met with Dalai Lama and discussed Buddhist principles and understanding the best practices of the religion.
